Bali in 14 days: a complete itinerary for a first trip

Bali remains one of the most popular destinations for travelers looking for beaches, rice terraces and temples. Here is a simple itinerary for a first two-week stay.

When to go

The dry season, from April to October, offers the best weather to visit the island. If possible, avoid the January to March period, which is the wettest.

Suggested itinerary (14 days)

  • Days 1-3: Ubud — Tegallalang rice terraces, Tirta Empul temple, craft workshops
  • Days 4-6: Amed — diving and snorkeling, the Liberty wreck
  • Days 7-9: Munduk — waterfalls, hikes in the highlands
  • Days 10-14: Uluwatu and Canggu — beaches, surfing, sunsets at Uluwatu temple

Estimated budget

Budget around 35 to 50 EUR per day and per person for a comfortable trip (guesthouse or small hotel, local meals, a few activities).
